CARLISLE, Anna Elizabeth Newkirk - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Wallace, Dec 9 - Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Carlile, 39 years old, died at Lakeview Hospital, Danville, Ill this morning at 2:40 a.m. after a brief illness. Death followed an appendicitis operation. Mrs. Carlile, life-long resident of the Wallace community, was born near Wallace, May 18, 1898, the daughter of Joseph and Miranda Newkirk. She was united in marr. with Marvin Carlile May 6, 1917. Mrs. Carlile was a member of the Wallace Lutheran church and Order of Eastern star. The family home is situated one and one-half miles northeast of here. Surviving are the husband, three daughters, Esther, Bernice and Barbara Jean, a son, kenneth and her parents. Funeral services will be held at the Wallace Lutheran church at 12:30 o[clock Sat Rev. W C Donaldson officiating. Burial will be made in Wallace.
