FITHIAN -- Services for Mrs. Minnie Cannon, 86, of Fithian will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Kirby Funeral Home in Fithian. The Rev. Robert M. will officiate, with burial in Stearns Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be at the funeral home this afternoon and evening. Mrs. Cannon died yesterday morning (March 8, 1968) at Lake View Memorial. Born Sept. 30, 1882 at Newtown, she was the daughter of John and Hettie Davis Craig. She married Jay LeRoy Cannon at Danville on Dec. 24, 1904. He died in 1939. A member of Fithian Methodist Church, she had lived at Vermilion Nursing Home in Tilton for several years. Surviving are: Ason, Marion of Fithian; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Pate of Danville, Mrs. Emily Boyle of Fairmount, Mrs. Mae Daugherty and Mrs. Nelle Ragan, both of Phoenix, Ariz; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter and a brother.--waw
