CAMPBELL, Herbert D. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Herbert D. Campbell, 53, a native of Veedersburg, died in his home at 6263 Douglas Road, Indianapolis. A resident of Indianapolis for 30 years, Mr. Campbell was financial vice president and treasurer of United Farm Bureau Family Life Insurance. He was employed for a short time with Ben Hur Life Association of Crawfordsville. He was a member of North United Methodist Church, Phi Beta Kappa and Musicians Local 3, AF of M. Born April 21, 1918, he attended Veedersburg schools and was a graduate of Wabash College. Survivors include the widow Mrs. Melita J. Campbell; two sons, Thomas H. of Flemington, N. J. and Gary W. of North Branch, N. Y.; a daughter, Miss Sally J. Campbell of Indianapolis, and two grandsons.
