CAMPBELL, Bessie Mendenhall - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Bessie Jane Campbell of Danville, Illinois, age 94, died Monday afternoon, December 20, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville. She was born in Cold Water, Kansas, February 16, 1888, the daughter of Milton and Emma Frances Patterson Mendenhall. In 1906, she married Albert Bracewell. Following his death, she was married in February 1938 to Hiram L. Campbell, who died July 7, 1949. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Undenominational Church in Danville.

  Survivors include a daughter, Rachel M. Pedigo of Danville; a son, Harold Bracewell of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida; a stepson, Hirma Campbell of Miami, Florida; a brother, Sy Mendenhall of Covington; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and three step grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Pape Memorial Home in Danville with Kenion Coleman and Delbert Olson officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery at Danville. - s
