CAMBRIN, Lawrence E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Lawrence E. Cambrin of Tucson, Arizona, age 65, died October 20, at his home. He was born May 22, 1916, in Fountain County, the son of Ed and Mary Ann Cambrin. He had made his home in Tucson the past 35 years. He retired from Tucson Gas and Electric in April of 1977 and since then had made frequent trips to visit relatives and friends in Indiana. He had never married.

  He is survived by four sisters, Elizabeth Hoover of Muncie, Effie Smith of Attica, Emma Name of South Bend and Goldie Drollinger of Wappapello, Missouri; a twin brother, Luther E. Cambrin, and a younger brother, Russell E. Cambrin, both of South Bend. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Stella Brown of Mishawaka and Bessie Borst of Veedersburg.

  Brothers, sisters and three nieces from Indiana, Missouri and California attended services and burial at Eastlawn Cemetery, Tucson, with Rev. Vern Grisso officiating. – s
