Veedersburg - Mrs. Lena Rose Cade, 82, a native of Waynetown, died Sunday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Helen Florey, in Tuscon, Ariz., it was learned here Tuesday. Mrs. Cade had been seriously ill two years. She had made her home in Tuscon the past three years. Born Sept. 8, 1877, she was the daughter of William Simms and Elizabeth Widener Simms. She was married twice, first to Isaac Henry, who preceded her in death. Her second husband, Dade Cade, also is deceased. Mrs. Cade was a member of the Veedersburg Methodist Church. Survivors include, in addition to the daughter, a half-brother, Herbert of Chicago, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A son, Dallas Henry, died last March 10 at Clearwater, Fla. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Fishero Funeral Home at Veedersburg. Rev. Guy E. Tremaine will be the officiating minister. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. The body is scheduled to arrive in Veedersburg Thursday night. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday.
