CADE, John William - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG — John William Cade, age 68, 46 W. Rathbone Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, died Saturday, November 22. He was the son of David S. and Ora Rivers Cade. He was born in Veedersburg, Ind. March 2, 1901. He was a retired electrical engineer of Ohio Bell Telephone Co., Associate with Public Utility Commission of Ohio. He was a member of the Beechwold Church of the Nazarene and Northern Kiwanis, and the Purdue Club of Central Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Rachel, a son, Robert, and a grandson, Corran, all of Columbus, and a brother, Kenneth of Veedersburg. Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 25, at the Memorial Chapel of the Southwick Funeral Home in Columbus, Ohio, with Rev. Paul Flack officiating. Interment was in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Attending from Veedersburg were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cade and son, David Cade.
