BUTTS, Howard - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Parham Funeral Home for Howard Butts, 60, of Veedersburg who died Tuesday morning Nov 8, 1971 at Veterans Hopsital in Indianapolis. He had been a patient in the Waynetown Nursing Home before entering the hospital. The Rev. Leland Britt will officiate. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Born June 22, 1911 in Veedersburg, he was the son of Ward and Martha Howard Butts. A former resident of Danville, Ill, he had retired from the Wabash Railroad. He had served int he Army during WWII and was a member of Sterling Christian Church. Survivors include a brother, Emil of Danville; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
