BUTTS, Blanche Anderson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

DANVILLE, Ill.—Mrs. Blanche V. Butts, 79, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday in the Margenette Nursing Home here. She had been in failing health two years and a patient at the nursing home one month. Born Oct. 22, 1883, at Oakwood, Ill., she was the daughter of Franklin and Almira Lamm Anderson. She married Ralph Butts Aug. 28, 1909. He died June 19, 1955. Mrs. Butts was a charter member of the Second Church of Christ here and was an active church worker. Surviving are a brother, William A. Anderson of Santa Cruz, Calif. and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruby Bunnell of Waynetown. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Edmund and Dickson Funeral Home here with Rev. Thomas D. Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home.  --typed by Walt W
