BUTTS, Armilda Swaim - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman - Mrs. Armilda Butts, 82, former resident of this community, died Sunday in a Charleston, Ill. hospital. She was born in Fountain County April 16, 1882, a daughter of Manford and Elizabeth Lynn Swaim. She was twice married. Her second husband, William Butts, died in 1958. Mrs. Butts is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William Wolfe of Flat Rock, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. R. E. Smith of Richmond, Va.; a son, Fulmer Kiger of Vincennes, and a grandchild. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Harper & Swickard Funeral Home in Charleston, with graveside rites conducted by the Woodrow Funeral Home in Centennial Cemetery east of Yeddo at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
