CAYUGA, Ind. — Richard Bush, 65, of Kingman Route 2, died at 10:20 p.m. yesterday (Sept. 18, 1969) at Lake View Memorial Hospital. Born in Lodi on Sept. 10, 1904, he was the son of Morris and Mary Carithers Bush. He was married Aug. 30, 1927, to Elizabeth Drake, who survives. Other survivors include five sons, Wallace of Kingman, Richard of Muncie, Joseph of Red Key, Byron of Saunemin and Gary of Muncie; one daughter, Mrs. Valerie Nelson of Kingman Route 2; three brothers, Charles of Kingman Route 2, Russell of Kingman and Joseph of Bloomingdale; and 19 grandchildren. Mr. Bush owned a grocery store in Lodi and was a member of the Waterman Baptist Church, the Cayuga F&AM 584, Order of the Eastern Star 204, Royal Neighbors and the Vermillion County Low 12 Club. Preceding him in death were a brother, three half-brothers, a sister, a daughter and a grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Sunday at the Waterman Baptist Church in Lodi with the Rev. John Osler officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.  --waw

KINGMAN - The funeral of Richard Bush, 65, of rural Kingman was held in the Waterman Baptist Church. Mr. Bush, a Lodi store proprietor, died in Lake View Memorial Hospital at Danville, Ill. In addition to the Waterman Baptist Church, he was a member of the Cayuga Masonic Lodge, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Vermillion County Low 12 Club. He was also a member of the Royal Neighbors. A son of Morris and Mary Bush, he was born on Sept. 10, 1904, in Lodi. His marriage to Elizabeth Drake was solemnized on Aug. 30, 1927. Surviving are the widow; five sons, Wallace, Richard Jr. and Gary of Muncie, Byron of Sunman and Joseph of Redkey; a daughter, Mrs. James (Valerie) Nelson of Kingman; three brothers, Joseph of Bloomingdale and Russell and Charles, both of Kingman, and 14 grandchildren. - jlr
