Rockville, Ind June 26 – Special – Richard W. Burnett, 69 years old, died at 8 o’clock Friday evening at his residence here.  Surviving are the wife, Viola; a son, Frank K, Downey, Calif; two daughters, Mrs. Dorthy Borders, Roswell, NM and Mrs. Mary Ruth Arnn, Washington DC; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Batty and Mrs. Matty Clark of Rockville; 8 grandchildren. The body was taken to the Branson Funeral Home where services will be held at 3 o’clock Monday afternoon,. Rev VE Squib will officiate with burial in Memory Garden cemetery. --transcribed by kbz

Rockville, Ind – Funeral services for Richard W. Burnett, 69, retired Rockville photographer were held this afternoon at the Branson Funeral Home here. Burial was in Memory Garden cemetery.  Mr. Burnett, native of Parke County had been a photographer here and in Covington 45 years until retiring several months ago because of ill health.  Survivors include the widow, two daughters, Mary Arnn, Washington DC and Dorothy Borders, Roswell, NM; a son, Frank Burnett, Downey California and two sisters, Dora Batty and Mattie Clark, both of Rockville. --transcribed by kbz

Richard W. Burnett was 69 when he passed away (born and passed in Parke) born 27 Sept 1884 died 25 June 1954 and rests in Parke County as well in Memory Garden Cemetery.  He was the son of Elijah and Mary Lewis.  --transcribed by kbz
