BURDINE, Anna Coonrod - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Anna Virginia Burdine of Bicknell, age 53, died Sunday afternoon in Wishard Memorial Hospital at Indianapolis. She was born at Bicknell, November 9, 1928, the daughter of Gerald and Audrey Rieu Coonrod. In 1961, she married Virgil Burdine, who survives. She was a member of the Sixth Church of Christ Scientist.

  Also surviving are six daughters, Susan Thomas of Covington, Nancy Remmell of Washington, Cindy Gurdin, Nita Jo Norton, Berdena Dee Sparks and Tina Marie Burdine, all of Indianapolis; her mother of Bicknell; a stepdaughter, Sharon Marie Shawhan of Pennsylvania; a stepson, Donald Burdine of Indianapolis; a sister, Rosemary Pierce of Old Glory, Texas; and 12 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Wampler-Shaw Chapel in Bicknell with Carl Ninnick officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery at Bicknell.
