Mrs. Lottie (Vaughan) Burden, 81, formerly of 200 N. 2nd St., Attica, died in the Community Hospital at Anderson Friday. She had been a patient there since Tuesday and in ill health for several years. Mrs. Burden was born in Sommerset, Ky., and moved to the Rainsville community before moving to Attica. She has made her home with her daughter in Andersen for the past 14 years. She married Harry Burden who died in 1948. She worked at the Cabinet Craft Co. in Attica, and was a member of the Ladies of the Moose in Attica. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles E. Smith of Anderson and Mrs. Edward Hosaver of Alvin, Ill., and three sisters, Mrs. Dave Loveless of Shelbyville, Mrs. Mary Neal of West Lafayette and Mrs. Dave Wheeler of Earlanger, Ky. Funeral services Monday at the DeSutter Funeral Home, with Rev. Harry Randolph officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery. --waw
