NEWTOWN – David A. Buck, 69, a former West Lafayette City Court judge and Justice of the Peace, was fatally stricken at his home here at 4:30 a.m. today. He was a member of the Quigle-Palin American Legion Post, Asbury United Methodist Church at Lafayette, F & AM and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers at Fort Wayne. Mr. Buck was a veteran of World War II. He was born in Lafayette on June 5, 1905,
a son of George H. and Cora Harvey Buck. He was married to Betty Roudebush on Aug. 30, 1968. She survives. Other survivors include a brother, George of West Lafayette, and a sister, Mrs. Mildred Miller of Indianapolis. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with the Rev. Donald Watson officiating. Burial will be in Sandridge Cemetery at West Lafayette.  Friends may call at the funeral home between 5 and 8 p.m. Sunday.  Masonic graveside rites will be conducted.   -– jlr

Newtown, Ind.—David A. Buck, 69, died at 4:30 a.m. (Aug. 2, 1974) at his home in Newtown.
  Born June 5, 1905, in Lafayette, Ind., he was the son of George H. and Cora Harvey Buck. On Aug. 30, 1968, he married Betty Roudebush of Newtown, who survives.
  He attended schools in Lafayette and was a former judge and justice of peace in West Lafayette. He was a retired electrician.
  He served in the Army in World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 123 in Lafayette, Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette, Quigle-Palin American Legion Post 394 at Newtown and Indiana Brotherhood of Electrical Workers of Ft. Wayne.
  Survivors include a brother, George of Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Miller of Indianapolis; a niece and a nephew.
  Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Watson officiating. Burial was at San Ridge Cemetery in West Lafayette, Ind. -s
