Attica—Quentin J. Bryant, 77, 901 S. Brady St., Attica, died at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 1989, in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Lafayette, following an illness of one year.

  He was born March 16, 1912, near Wallace, in Parke County, the son of Alfred and Lula Zackmire Bryant. He formerly resided at Redkey, Ind., moving to Sloan in Warren County in 1945, and to Attica in 1972. He was married Nov. 30, 1945, in Crawfordsville to Maxine Day, who preceded him in death Feb. 19, 1986.

    He graduated from Wallace High School in 1931. He was employed at Alcoa in Lafayette as a tool and die maker for more than 25 years, retiring in 1974.

  He was a member of the West Lebanon Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute.

  Surviving are three sons, Greg Bryant, Crawfordsville; Merrill Bryant, Portland, and John Oelslager, Adrian, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Marcia) Fusek, Avon Lake, Ohio, and eight grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy, and a brother, Raymond.

  Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Maus Funeral Home Chapel, Attica, with the Rev. James Boudouris officiating. Burial was in Centennial Cemetery, south of Veedersburg. Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
