Youngstown, Ohio—Wayne Bruner, 66, 4126 Burkey Road, Youngstown, died in Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne after a one week illness.
  He was born Jan. 10, 1923 at Tangier to Harvey and Eleanor Philpott Bruner. He was married Jan. 26, 1945 to Mary Weimert, who survives.
  He moved to Ohio in 1985 and was a rig owner-operator for white Star Trucking Co. for 17 years before retiring in 1980. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of Teamsters Local 377.
  Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Darrel, Youngstown, and Ronald, Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Ashwell, Wallace, and Mrs. Mary Alice Shaffer, Whiteland; three brothers, Max and Bob, Newtown, and Reid, Lafayette; eight grandchildren and a great grandson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis.
  Higgins Funeral Home, Austintown, Ohio, was in charge of arrangements.
