BRUNER, Valentine - 1899 - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Valentine Bruner was born near Greenville, Tenn., October 20, 1817, and when a quite young came with his parents to Fountain county, where he lived a number of years, finally locating near Waynetown, where he resided until his death, August 12, 1899, being 81 years, 9 months and 22 days of age.  He had been in failing health for over a year and realized that his death was not very far away.  He was prepared and willing to answer the messenger's call.  He united with the Newlight church at Wallace.  He was married to Celia Bowman March 7, 1844, who died April 13, 1899.  To this union eight children were born.  One boy and five girls survive him, two boys having preceded him to the land beyond.
