Sterling -- Miss Phyllis Bruner, 28, died Friday at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. Death was attributed to Hodgkin's disease. Born in Fountain County on May 12, 1927, she was the daughter of Harven and Eleanor Philpot Bruner. She attended Kingman schools. Surviving besides the parents are two sisters: Mrs. Kathleen Adkins and Mrs. Mary Alice Shaffer and four brothers: Max, Bob, Reed and Wayne. Funeral. services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Freedom Church near Wallace, with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. The body will lie in state for one hour before the services. Friends may call at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman afternoon today. - kbz

Miss Phyllis Bruner, 28 of Veedersburg died Friday morning July 22, 1955 in Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis where she was a patient one day. She was a victim of Hodgkins disease which affects the lymph system in the blood. Born in Fountain County, Ind May 12, 1927 she was the daughter of Harvey and Eleanor Philpott Bruner. She attended Kingman schools. Surviving are her parents of Sterling; two sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Adkins of Wallace, Ind and Mrs. Mary Alice Shaffer of Indianapolis; four brothers: Max and Bobbie both of Newtown; Reed of Lafayette and Wayne of Poland, Ohio. Services were held Sunday at Freedom Church near Wallace. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs of Veedersburg officiated and burial was in Lutheran Cemetery a mile east of Wallace. The Woodrow Funeral Home of Kingman was in charge. – kbz
