Newtown - Bobby D. Bruner, 67 died at 3:40 p.m. Friday Oct 2 in Regency Place, Lafayete. Born June 29, 1931 in Parke County, he attended schools at Kingman and Wallace. He was employed at Pitman Auto Co. in Hillsboro then became a partner with his brother, Ma in Bruner Sunoco Service. Mr. Bruner was interested in amateur radio and did repair work on radios, television and various other appliances. He married Joan Crowder in Parke County Oct 20, 1949. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dan (Karen) Best; two sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Ashwell of Wallace and Mrs. Mary Alice Shafer of New Whiteland; and a brother Max Bruner of Newtown.
