KINGMAN, Ind. - Mrs. Ura Pearl Brown, 77, a resident of Jackson Township most of her life, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 27, 1978) at the Indiana Veterans Home in Lafayette. She had resided there for the past 16 years. Born Jan. 30, 1901, in Fountain County, she was the daughter of George and Sarah Cory Bever. She was married to Newton Brown, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Freedom Christian Church. Survivors include two nieces, Ms. Berniece Alderson of Kingman and Mrs. Marie Clemence of Kingman Route 2; and a nephew, Clinton Bever of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by a son. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate. Burial will be in Coopers Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. - jlr
