Funeral services were held last Saturday at the Fishero Home for Shelby E. Brown, 82 who died Thursday morning March 26 at Culver Hospital. He had been residing at Small Nursing Home in Waynetown since last September. Mr. Brown was born June 16, 1870 at Carothersville, Ind son of John and Charity Perry Brown. He had resided in Veedersburg for the past 30 years. In 1891 he married Laura Smith who preceded him in death. Surviving are two half brothers, James and Emmet Hopkins of Rensselaer and a half-sister Mrs. Roscoe Garret of Williamsport. – kbz
