Irene C. BROWN, 80, Danville, Ill died at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 7 at Lakeview Medical Center. She was a resident at Vermillion Manor Nursing Home for the past six and a half years. She was a former resident of 310 Robinson since 1944. She was born June 10, 1906, in Attica, the daughter of Dwight and Edna Mae Songer Epperson. She married Charles W. Brown Sept 10, 1927 in Williamsport. He preceded her in death Sept 9, 1965. She had been a seamstress for Lloyde's and Fournier's Upholstery. She was a member of 1st Church of Christ and sang in the choir. Surviving are 3 sons, Dwayne, Juneau, Alaska; Bill, Merced, Calif; and Carroll, Catlin, Ill; two brothers, Raymond Epperson, Robert Epperson, Lafayette; 9 grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren. SHe was also rpeceded in death by four sons, 3 brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today (Friday) at Barrick & Son Guardian Chapel with Bill Carpenter officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
