BROWN, Gertrude Darling - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Gertrude A. Brown, 68, died Saturday evening, March 31 at Lake View Hospital, Danville, where she had been a patient 19 days. She was born on July 9, 1882, the daughter of John and Caroline Darling.  She was married on Sept 9, 1903 to George Brown who survives. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church. Surviving beside the husband are four sons, Hansel of Covington; Robert of Foster, Orville of Gessie and Gerald of Attica and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Veedersburg EUB Church, conducted by the Rev. JC Shrigley, former pastor and Rev. Robert Todd, present pastor. Burial took place in Osborn’s Prairie cemetery with the Fishero Funeral Home in charge.
