David A. Brown, 69, retired grain elevator employee, died at 11 a.m. Sunday April 23 at his home in Veedersburg. Death was due to a heart attack, following an illness of three years. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Fishero Funeral Home with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Mr. Brown was born in Montreal, Can Aug 4, 1880 and came to Veedersburg two years ago from Attica. He was married Jan 28, 1948 to Esther Adkins of Veedersburg who survives. He was a member of the Mulberry Ind Methodist Church and OES and Masonic Lodges at Vernon, Mich. Other survivors are two daughters by a previous marriage, Mrs. Stella Leland, Brighton, Mich; and Mrs. Aura Lamb, Flint, Mich; a son, Lloyd, Saginaw, Mich a brother, Robert, Midland, Mich. – kbz

David A. Brown was born in Montreal, Canada, Aug 4, 188 and came to Veedersburg from Attica where he had lived several years. He was married Jan 25, 1948 to Esther Adkins who survives. He was a member of the Mulberry, Ind Methodist Church and OES and Masonic Lodges of Vernon, Michigan. Other survivors are two daughters by a previous marriage, Mrs. Stella Leland, Brighton, Mich and Mrs. Aura Lamb, Flint, Mich. A son, Lloyd of Saginaw, Mich and a brother, Robert of Midland, Mich and three stepsons and a stepdaughter.
