BROCK, John - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

KINGMAN, Ind. - John Z. Brock, 66, of Kingman Route 2, died at 3:15p.m.Saturday Dec. 11, 1971 at his home following a heart attack. Born June 3, 1905, in Sullivan County, he was the son of John and Mary Smith Brock. He was married to Cleo Nelson, who survives. Mr. Brock had owned and operated a grocery store in Lodi. He was a member of the Waterman Baptist Church, Cayuga Masonic Lodge 584, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 204 at Kingman and Rockville Past Masters Club and Low 12 Club. Survivors also include a half brother, Harold Marks of Farmersburg and a sister, Mrs. Mary Smithers of Terre Haute. Two brothers preceded him in death. Services were 2 p.m. EST Tuesday at the Watson Funeral Home. The Rev. John Hosler officiated. Burial was in Miller Cemetery. - jlr
