Frankfort—Everett F. Brock Sr., 80, 706 Blinn Ave., Frankfort, died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 1989 in Home Hospital, Lafayette.

  He was born Jan. 30, 1909 in New Albany. He was married Dec. 18, 1926 to Margaret M. DeVine, who preceded him in death in 1978.

  He and his wife owned and operated Brock Nursing Home on Michigantown Road, near Frankfort, for a number of years. They then became managers of Parkview County Home, which they managed for the county for many years.

  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Frankfort.

  Surviving are four sons, Everett F. Jr. and David, both of Lafayette; William, Zionsville, and Robert, Frankfort; eight daughters, Dorothy Schriefer, Stockwell; Mrs. Hubert (Patricia) Budreau, Indianapolis; Mrs. Gerald (Betty) Jacks, Frankfort; Mrs. Norman (Mary) Bandy of California; Mrs. Walter (Evelyn) Cornelius, Spencer; Mrs. Joseph (Janet) Holsclaw, Lafayette; Mrs. Donald (Frances) Vessels, Pine Village, and Mrs. Robert (Judy) Zufall, Greenwood; two sisters, Geneva Martin, Dayton, Ohio, and Doris Mallory, Elizabeth, Ind.; two brothers, Eugene, Elizabeth, and Harvey, Atlanta, Ga.; 42 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

  Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Goodwin Chapel with the Rev. Richard Lewkey officiating.
