Attica, Ind - Mrs. Celia Catherine Brock, 84, of Attica, died at 5 a.m. today Dec 23, 1966 at Community Hospital, Williamsport where she had been a patient 3 months. She was born near Covington, Aug 17, 1882, the daughter of Stephen Richard and Susanna Booner Brown. She married George W. Helms 2 Aug 1899 at Portland Arch. He preceded her in death April 15, 1941. She married Walter C. Brock Jan 27, 1943 at Williamsport and he died Aug 27, 1943. Mrs. Brock had lived in Portland Arch most of her life before moving to Attica two years ago. She was a member of Fountain Congregational Christian Church and charter member of its Willing Workers Class. She also was a member of the Shawnee Home Economics Club. Survivors include two sons, George Byron Helms of Attica Rt 4; and Hershcel Richard Helms of Williamsport; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The body is at the DeSutter Funeral Home where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Saturday and after 8:30 a.m. Monday. Service at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Douglas Dickey officiating. Burial in Portland Arch Cemetery.
