ATTICA — Thomas D. Britt, 48,
formerly of Attica, and had been residing in rural Veedersburg, died Sunday,
Aug. 26, 2007. He was born Oct. 25, 1958 in Lafayette, the son of Kenneth Earl
and Versa Delcina (Morgan) Britt. He married Karen Odore June 12, 1978 in
Duncan, Okla. She survives. He had formerly attended Attica High School. He had
lived most of his life in Attica until just recently moving to rural
Veedersburg. He formerly worked at Myers Steel Fabricating Plant in Attica. He
had formerly attended the Living Waters Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and
playing poker. Survivors, besides the wife, include: his mother of Somerset,
Ky.; two sons, Joshua (fiance Stacy
Clevenger) Britt, Veedersburg and Jason (K. C.) Britt, Attica; a daughter,
Amanda Britt, Attica; six brothers, Denny (Janie) Britt, Mike (Vicki) Britt,
Kenny (Debbie) Britt, all of Somerset, Ky., Larry (Patty) Britt, Advance, Mo.,
Sonny (Susan) Britt, and Harley (Lisa) Britt, both of Attica; two sisters,
Cheryl (Gilbert Daniels) High, Somerset, Ky. and Sharon Wilkerson, Attica; and
five grandchildren, Alexzander, Nadaleigh, Ariauna, Audree and Emma Britt. He
was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Darneda Gaines. Friends may
call from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight (Wednesday) in Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Funeral
services will be there at 1 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Dave Wickens officiating.
