Virginia Lou Briney, 83, Crawfordsville died 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Clare Medical Center. Mrs. Briney formerly owned Bob-A-Lou restaurant, the Mustang Room Restaurant at Veedersburg and Sky Valley Inn near Hillsboro.  Her memberships included Alamo Order of Eastern Star where she was a 63-year-member, Hillsboro Nazarene Church and she attended Victory Fellowship Church, Hillsboro. She was a 1936 Crawfordsville High School graduate.  She was born Aug 31, 1918 at Elmdale, Ind to Asa and Pearl Dazey Humphreys. She married Robert Briney on March 24, 1953. He died Dec 9, 1990. Survivors include a stepson, Robert L. Briney, Jr, Albany Ky and two grandsons.  Two sisters, Ionine Raymond and Ruby Burditt are deceased.  Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S Indiana 25, Waynetown. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 9-11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. - kbz
