COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Charles K. Bright, 78, a resident of Covington most of his life, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday (April 25, 1975) at the Broad Ripple Nursing Home in Indianapolis. Born April 30, 1897, in Covington, he was the son of Charles K. and Emma Carwile Bright. Mr. Bright had been a salesman in Indianapolis before World War I and was a veteran of the Rainbow Division during the war. He was a member of the Fulton-Banta American Legion Post 291. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary Wilgus of Indianapolis; two nieces and a nephew. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. P. J. Hamilton will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3-6 p.m. today.

Charles K. Bright, formerly of 703 N. Third St., in Covington died in an Indianapolis nursing home.
  Mr. Bright was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion in Covington and a member of the National Association of Rainbow Division for men.
  Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary Bright Wilgus of Indianapolis, a niece, Mrs. John R. Bain of Indianapolis, a niece, Mrs. Judith B. Colby of Vermont, and a nephew, J. J. Bright of Indianapolis.
  Funeral services were held at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home at Covington on Sunday, April 27, 1975. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. – thanks to S
