Glenn H. Brier, of Attica, age 72, died Sunday morning, June 13, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. He was born at West Lebanon, January 5, 1910, the son of Ora A. and Nellie Mae Walton Brier. September 6, 1942, he married Frances I. Brooks, who survives. He retired from Harrison Steel Casting Company in 1979 after 38 years as a coremaker.
Also surviving are a sister, Lenora Cox of Joliet, Illinois; and two brothers, Gordon of rural Attica and Ora C. of Indianapolis.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. James Rey officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S

Attica - Glenn H. Brier, 72, of 1109 S. Brady St, Attica, died at 4:49 p.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He had been hsopitalized since May 7. Born at West Lebanon he attended Attica schools and lived in this area most of his life. In 1942 he married at Waveland to Frances I Brooks who survives. Mr. Brier was employed as a coremaker at Harrison Steel Castings here for 38 years, retiring in 1979. Surviving with the widow are two brothers, Gordon Brier of Rt 2, Attica and Ora Brier of Indianapolis and a sister Mrs. Gordon (Lenora) Cox of Joliet, Ill. - kbz
