Williamsport—Marian Elizabeth Bridgewater, 73, 208 W. Third St., Williamsport, died at 1:55 *.m. Monday, March 27, 1989 in Country Care Nursing Center, Williamsport. She had been in failing health since November.
She was born March 22, 1916 in Williamsport, the daughter of George and Olive Pollom Wagner. She was married Nov. 2, 1932 in Attica to Otho L. Bridgewater, who survives.
She was a life resident and educated in Williamsport. She was a telephone operator at Indiana Bell Telephone before retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Williamsport United Methodist Church. She was an avid Purdue University fan and also enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Margie Miles, Williamsport; a sister, Dorothy Fichter, Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at * a.m. today (Friday) in Fisher Funeral Home Chapel, Williamsport with **n Glover officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Williamsport. - s
