BRIDGEWATER, Frank - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Frank Bridgewater of Kankakee, Illinois, age 59, died Sunday, April 19, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. He was born at Georgetown, Illinois, October 14, 1921, the son of Ernest and Effie May Dunn Bridgewater. May 19, 1950,he married Florence Woods, who survives. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Kankakee and Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Kathie Jo at home; a son, Charles of Nome, Alaska; a sister, Mrs. Mary Sandlin of Georgetown; and three brothers, Roy of Kingman, Ralph of Danville, Illinois, and Harold of Kincaid, Illinois.

  Funeral services were held today (Thursday) at Houghton Funeral Home in Georgetown with Rev. John Martin officiating. Burial was in Georgetown Cemetery. – thanks to S
