BREWER, Perle - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Funeral services for Perle Brewer, 61, an employee of the mineral plant at Waynetown who died on Aug 17, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday Aug 20 at Fishero Funeral Home. Rev. Elmer Sampley, pastor of the Veedersburg Christian Church conducted the service, and burial took place in the Bonebrake Cemetery. Mr. Brewer had been ill for three weeks before his death in Lake View Hospital, Danville.  He was born in Parke County, April 5, 1889 the son of Scott and Margaret Arrasmith Brewer. He was married to Stella Fogleman who survives with five daughters: Mesdames Maxine Blackford and Gertrude Ellis, Veedersburg; Ethel West, Waynetown; Dorothy Kruger, Covington and Hazel Head, Attica; two sons, Loren of Veedersburg and Max of Waynetown; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Phillips, Veedersburg and Mrs. Ethel Howsher of Hillsboro; and four brothers, Tillman, Veedersburg; Jesse, Buchanan, Mich; Elmer, Clonton and William, address unknown also 12 grandchildren.
