BREWER, Orah Nancy Coffing - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON – Funeral services for Mrs. Orah Nancy Brewer, age 86, a life resident of Covington, who died at 2 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hegg Funeral Home here. The Rev. Gayle McKinney officiated and burial was in the West Liberty Cemetery, south of Covington. Mrs. Brewer, who had been ill six months, was hospitalized one day. She was born May 17, 1884, east of Covington, the daughter of James and Miranda Ziegler Coffing. She was married in 1908 to Herschel E. Brewer, who preceded her in death in 1968. She was a member of the West Liberty Church of Christ. Surviving Mrs. Brewer are: one grandson, James Brewer of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, Homer Coffing of Largo, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one grandson, two sisters and two brothers.
