BREWER, Frank L. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Frank L. Brewer of Covington, age 64, died Friday afternoon, August 12, at his home. He was born in Wabash Township, Fountain County, February 12, 1919, the son of Barton W. and Ruby Hasty Brewer. November 23, 1945, he married Maryellen Bowers, who died March 21, 1976. Brewer was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II. He graduated from Perrysville High School and was formerly employed by Farm Bureau Co-op at Veedersburg, Sutters Brothers and Olin Corporation.

  Surviving are two sons, Richard of San Antonio and Robert of Covington; three sisters, Mary Garrison of RR 1, Covington, Hortense Emory and Virginia Dye, both of Covington; a brother, John Bill of RR 3, Covington; and two grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. William Rudd officiating. Military graveside rites and burial were in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks to S
