Mrs. Daisy Bremer, age 86, of Marshfield, died unexpectedly about 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, in Indianapolis. She had been visiting a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Lucht, and was writing a letter when stricken. She was born Nov. 17, 1878 in Danville, Ill., the daughter of George and Mariah Evans. She was first married to William Nail and later to William Bremer, both of who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Marshfield and active in its women's affairs. She was also a 50-year member and patron of West Lebanon Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and had lived at Marshfield 70 (?) years. She also was a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge of Danville and the Warren County Chorus. Surviving, in addition to the daughter at whose home she died, are: another daughter, Mrs. Naomi McCool of Freeport; one sister, Mrs. L. Leslie Lowe of Danville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two sisters and two brothers. The body is being returned to the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Marshfield Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services.
