WILLIAMSPORT — Ruth M. (Miller) Breeding, 76, rural Williamsport, died at 8:57 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001 in St. Vincents Williamsport Hospital. She had been hospitalized for four days. She was born Aug. 1, 1926 in Henning, Vermilion County, Ill., the daughter of John S. and Millie E. Watson Miller. She married Lee G. Breeding, a farm implement mechanic, Jan. 28, 1947 in Milford, Ill. He survives. She lived in Hoopeston, Ill. several years before moving to Warren County in 1952. She attended the Hoopeston School System. She traveled to the local nursing homes playing the accordion and piano for the residents. She enjoyed sewing and her flower garden. Her husband is the only survivor. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday in Grady Funeral Home, West Lebanon, with the Rev. Grover Williams officiating. Burial was in Danville National Cemetery, Danville, Ill. – jlr
