Mrs. Sarah Jane Bratton, 68, Attica died at the home of a son, Raymond at 10:15 p.m. Monday after an illness of 16 years. Mrs. Bratton was born Jan 17, 1886 in Greene County, Ind. She was married Aug 29, 1903 to James Bratton who preceded her in death in 1953. She was a member of the Attica Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Volet Wolf of Attica; three sons, Raymond and Maurice of Attica and Wayne of San Pierre, Ind and three sisters, Mrs. Nannie Moore and Mrs. Rosa Reed of Indianapolis and Mrs. Minnie Jones of Edwardsport, Ind. Services were held at the DeSutter Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday with burial in Riverside Cemetery. – kbz
