Waynetown, July 14 - At her home on south Vine Street at 5 Tuesday afternoon occurred the death of Mrs. Nancy Brant, aged 76 years relict of Matthias Brant. The funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 2 and will be in charge of Rev. O.P. Duncan, who was her pastor. She leaves besides a host of friends, two daughters, Mrs. Homer McKinsey, of Covington and Mrs. F.M. Pardue with whom she lived, Charles Brant of Williamsport, a grandson, also a grandson living in Iowa; son of the late Charley Berry (sic) well known editor whose death occurred 3 years ago in Veedersburg. Mrs. Brant's maiden name was Murray and her entire life has been spent in and near Waynetown.

MRS. NANCY BRANT, mother of the late Chas. M. Berry who won fame throughout Indiana as editor of the Veedersburg News, is dead at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. M. Pardue, in Waynetown, following an illness of several weeks. She was seventy six years old and had lived in Waynetown all of her life. – S&E
