BRANT, Alice - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica, Nov 30 – Mrs. Alice Brant, 73, passed away about 4 o’clock Friday morning at her home here on North Perry Street. Mrs. Brant had been failing in health for several years but had been bedfast only about a month. She was born May 26, 1861 in West Lebanon a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harman Sorrels. She was married to Horace Brant of Williamsport and later moved to Attica where Mr. Brant operated a grocery store for 44 years. He passed away Feb 27, 1934. She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Edna Delp, Mrs. Lelia Eckhart and Mrs. Zura Evans of Attica and Mrs. Bertha Prebble of Calumet City Ill and one son, Arthur also of Attica. The body was removed to the Ferguson Funeral Home. - kbz
