BRANSON, Esther Peterson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG — Esther V. Branson, 84, of Rensselaer, mother of Mrs. Harold (Helen Ruth) McElwee of Veedersburg, died Saturday in Rensselaer Care Center. Mrs. Branson was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church at Rensselaer. She attended Marion State Teachers College. Born Nov. 24, 1892, in Jasper County, she married Jerry A. Branson in 1914. He died in 1970. Surviving with the daughter are two sons, Paul of Winchester and Merl of Rensselaer and five grandchildren. Services are scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Jackson Funeral Home at Rensselaer with burial in Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home.
