Attica, May 24 – Artie Brandenburg, 17 year old son of Jacob and Cora Brandenburg died Friday morning at 2 o’clock at the family home east of Attica. His death followed an operation for the removal of a tumor from the base of the brain. The operation was performed in Chicago about a month ago and was a very critical one. The deceased was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Brandenburg and was born in this vicinity. He is survived by his parents and two brothers, Roy and Earl Brandenburg.
