Perry Bowman, 70, a life resident of Fountain County died at 2 p.m. (Jan 30, 1956) at his home in Veedersburg after an illness of two years. Death was caused by a stroke. Born in Veedersburg Oct 11, 1886 he was the son of Frank and Rebecca Grigson Bowman. He was married to Florida Greenleaf Sept 10, 1906. Surviving are the wife and one brother, Lloyd of Veedersburg. Prior to his illness he had been employed at Harrison Steel at Attica for 22 years. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fishero Funeral Home. Burial was in Cold Springs Cemetery north of Veedersburg. – kbz
