BOWMAN, Paul - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Paul “Pick” Bowman of Perrysville, age 65, died Thursday afternoon, April 16, at his home. He was born in Perrysville, April 13, 1916, the son of Frank and Lulu Wagoner Bowman. February 18, 1940, he married Elizabeth Grubbs, who survives. Bowman was a member of Seventh Street Church of Christ in Covington and owned and operated Bowman Grocery in Perrysville for 32 years before retiring in 1978.

  Also surviving are a son, Paul E. of rural Perrysville; three brothers, Noah and Joe, both of Perrysville and Frank E. of Hillsboro; and three grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Paul Kent officiating. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville. – thanks to S
