BOWMAN, Ida May Alward - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

- Mrs. Ida May Bowman 62 died Monday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Randall Thompson near Bloomingdale. She had been ill for 3 and 1/2 months and death was caused by carcinoma. Mrs. Bowman was born Dec 17, 1885 near Wallace, the daughter of  Henry and Sarah McKinsey Alward. She was married to Joe E. Bowman at Wallace in Oct 1903. She was a member of the Freedom Church near Wallace Surviving are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Thompson at whose home she died; 4 brothers, Bert Alward of Tenn; George of Calif and Thurman and Arista both of Wallace and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Lutheran Church near Wallace.
