Glen Shannon Bowman, 78, of Attica Route 2, died Saturday Oct. 16, 1971, at the home of his son, Luther, where he had resided the past year and a half. He had been ill two years and seriously ill four weeks. Born in Wallace, Sept. 27, 1893, he was the son of Joe and Catherine Wilkenson Bowman. February of 1916 at Crawfordsville, he married Maude Eubank who died in 1965. A retired farmer, he was a former resident of Pine Village, moving to the Attica area four years ago. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Pine Village. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Pete (Irene) Royals of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Keith (Ruth) Fouch of Kokomo, Mrs. Everett (Hazel) Morgan of Attica, Mrs. Garcie (Mildred) Smith of Covington and Mrs. Robert (Joan) Charles of Danville, Ill.; a son Luther of Attica Route 2; 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Services Wednesday at the Maus Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Moyer officiating. Burial in Riverside cemetery.
