BOWMAN, Geneva Wilkerson

Geneva Kathryn Bowman, 70, of
Veedersburg, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1993 at her residence. She was
born Sept. 10, 1923, at Morganfield, Ky., to Frank and Marguerite Wilkerson.
She was married in September, 1958, at Pittsboro, to Bruce B. Bowman. He died
in June, 1973. She was a nurse aide working in home health care for 15 years.
She had lived in Veedersburg since 1953, moving there from Evansville. She had
attended the Community Bible Church and she was interested in helping others.
Surviving, are: one son, Bruce E. (Alison) Bowman of Indianapolis; one
daughter, Mary Kathryn (Charles) Wichmann of Crawfordsville; one stepson, Jack
Bowman of Fruita, Colo.; one grandchild and stepgrandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by one stepson, Alan, and
one brother, Frank. Visitation was Thursday at Parham-Shelby Funeral Home,
Veedersburg. Service there on Friday with interment at Wolfe Creek Cemetery. – jlr
