After several months illness, Mrs. Anna E. Bowman, 72, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Wilson of Hillsboro Monday morning about 9 o'clock. Her death was due to complications of ailments. Mrs. Bowman was highly respected and had resided in the immediate vicinity of Hillsboro the past 24 years. The funeral service was held from the Hillsboro Christian Church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. H.A. Davis of near Indianapolis, a former pastor in charge. The pall bearers were: Sam Largent, John Hyatt, E.P. Finch, ELmer Lambdin, Henry Hershbarger and Everett Kay. The Rev. George Ross and Miss Nina Snyder sang accompanied by Mrs. Carol Myer. The flower bearers were: Mesdames Nora Reynolds, Nellie Eitnier, Julia Kay, reed Janeway, Mamie Glascock and Nellie Tozer. Burial was made in Rose Hill Cemetery.
